Describe a new color. Pour fourth-dimensional tea out of a fifth-dimensional pot. Send yourself a letter from the future. Forge the legs of the kitchen table into wings. Are you the same you as you were ten minutes ago? Are you sure? This is the summer house, an unearthly backdrop for small acts of absurdity. Its residents are stuck; confined to the antiquated air bubble of the house, each of them grappling with the catalyst of their arrival. When the narrator takes an interest in the house and its occupants, the infinite status quo is challenged and reality starts to unravel even further. Part thought-experiment, part dreamscape drama, The Icarus Paradox explores love, loneliness, identity, what it means to be lost, and what it means to be found.
